The Urban Nature Navigator has been developed by the NATURVATION research project, funded by the European Commission. The purpose of the assessment tool is to enable decision-makers to evaluate the contribution that nature-based solutions can make in achieving their urban sustainability goals.

The tool includes a process through which decision-makers can identify their urban sustainability priorities and assessment (general or context specific) of benefits from nature-based solutions for whom, and the trade-offs involved.
